A final treatment for genital wart removal is the use of special chemicals. Such methods may require several applications for a duration of several weeks before the warts dissolve. Chemicals purchased at the store for removal of warts on the hands should not be used for genital wart removal as they can make your skin very sore.

In general, genital warts should be removed as they are infectious and can spread to other people if the proper precautions are not taken.
